It would have helped if the parking charges in the adjacent car park were suspended for the week. I was forced to park in Green street late one night, thus aggravating the traffic congestion next morning. The parking at Sunbury Park is hugely under utilised.
Again this information is too little too late. I am sure the residents of Green Street have been informed of all the implications.
BUT there is no reference to the 218 bus route which impacts on all of Lower Sunbury, which needs to use these closed roads.
Tonight the 1st night of the closures I saw people waiting at the bus stop in Thames Street near the Magpie, presumably for a bus towards Staines. Have Surrey announced the impact on the route and how has that been communicated to ALL residents in Lower Sunbury?
Why doesn't this map show the planned diversion that must surely accompany this scheme.
