First Meeting of Local Policing Board for SpelthorneInspector Derrick Laing has forwarded details of the Local Policing Board's first meeting being held on 27 June at the Greeno Centre in Shepperton.

It is open to all Spelthorne residents regardless of where they live.

    Calling this a'Board' meeting was misleading - there was no formal presentation and no opportunity to ask public questions. It was possible to address individual Officers, who were, to be fair, receptive to dealing with issues raised (by me anyway). More proactive communication is required from the PCC about how he is doing in addressing his self-imposed targets.
