The Council has made the following announcement:
The Council are currently reviewing all historical monuments in the Borough and will work with local communities to assess the appropriateness of these statues.
In the interim we have decided to close the Sunbury Walled Garden whilst this review is being undertaken.

Words fail me to understand why the garden has to be closed during the review.......Leaving any debates aside whether the review should even take place, it certainly should not take place without the involvement of all local residents!
